<description>&#60;p&#62;@LindsayInNY:  DH and I really like it so far because we actually use everything we buy as opposed to constantly throwing out 3/4 bunch of cilantro or buying some weird condiment we will only use once. For example, I used the juice of a lemon for one recipe and the zest for another. It's much less wasteful so you save money.

&#60;p&#62;I basically only cook things during the week that I can prep ahead and put in the oven to cook.  That means I rely a lot on baked meats, so boneless pork chops, chicken breasts, pork tenderloin, fish filets, that kind of thing.  I've learned a few marinades that are super easy to keep in the pantry or fridge and I just rotate among them.  Bonus is that most of them work on pork/chicken/fish.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Marinades/glazes:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;orange juice, maple syrup&#60;br /&#62;
apricot jam, dijon mustard (classic, my husband loves this)&#60;br /&#62;
balsamic glaze, straight from the bottle&#60;br /&#62;
honey, lemon juice&#60;br /&#62;
pesto, straight from the jar, with cherry tomatoes&#60;br /&#62;
plum jam, soy sauce&#60;br /&#62;
teriyaki, wasabi, panko

<description>&#60;p&#62;Tomato mozz salad tossed with lemon juice and a scoop of pesto thrown over anything - salad, grilled meat, pasta.  Or just make it tomato with pesto if you want less cheese.  If it's a salad I also add cold rotisserie chicken.  &#60;/p&#62;

Doesn't sound like much but it's yum :)

&#60;p&#62;I marinated chicken in &#34;man pleasing&#34; sauce, a mix of Dijon and maple syrup. Grills up easily.   &#60;/p&#62;
