@delight: yes thanks!

It went SO WELL today--slept 1 hour for 1st nap, 1 hour 15 min for 2nd nap after 6 min of crying. I hope it wasn't a fluke and tomorrow is good too!

@Smurfette: he actually fell asleep after 35 minutes of crying with 3 checks. the last time, he threw it over again, but then fell asleep after 10 minutes and slept another hour.

We're now trying nap #2 and we're at 5 min of crying so far :(

So after LO (13 months) not napping at all yesterday, I started nap training today. He had been nursing to sleep and then staying asleep during the transfer to the crib but that stopped working. So I am doing CIO with checks right now. Question, he keeps throwing his lovey over the crib as soon as I walk out. Do I keep giving it back to him? It seems mean to not give it back but I feel like it's a game to him now...

ETA also if he doesn't sleep for his first nap at all, do I wait an hour and try again? Or just wait for his regular 2nd nap time?
