It's quick and I can even use it on my husband who can't stand to take his temp any other way. If I hold her and clamp her arm next to her side, it seems to work fine. You just need to adjust the temp by adding 0.9-1 degree. I got an ear thermometer in a first aid kit and it sucks. I can't even get a close reading on myself, much less a squirmy tiny ears- like it ranges from 97-99 on me. It's useless. But the rectal one, while accurate I assume, is such an ordeal and she hates it. I'd love something quick for those times when I'm like, hmmm you feel warm but probably not feverish but I feel like I should check... Does such a thing exist? Links? </p>
