That was one of my worst pregnancy symptoms! I stretched before bed and then used a warm magic bag. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't

@Dandelion: Bahahah yeah, and if she knew you wanted her there she definitely wouldn't lay there anymore.
The heat always helped me!

I suffered from RLS while pregnant with DS2 and what helped me was weight. I would put as many heavy blankets as I could on my legs and the weight of them would help so much!

magnesium supplements helped me, but I don't know if it's okay to take those while pregnant.

I suffer from it before I got pregnant and still do today. I found that regular exercise helped a ton. When I was pregnant, Tylenol wouldn't help as much as Advil would. My doctor told me to start taking magneusim. I thought that it helped. Stretch before bed. Drink lots of water.

@dandelion i suffered from restless leg way before getting pregnant (so it's that much worse now.. urgh!) but what always works for me is drinking a ton of water each day and good calf stretches. also helps to sort of pound on my calf muscles or try and get dh to massage them. urgh such an annoying thing!

Last night I was up for hours, laying in bed, because my leg wanted to keep moving. Ugh...it was awful. I tried so many things to make it quit. It finally settled on its own, but by then I was only headed for about 3 hours of sleep. Luckily, I did get to have a little nap earlier today, but now I worry that this is going to be a new normal until the end of pregnancy.

Do any of you know of a quick remedy to stop RLS in its tracks? I tried stretching, walking around, different sleeping positions...nothing worked. It was miserable.

Should I be eating something?
