I think they can also do that for a c section. If you're allergic definitely ask. When they test you for GBS, they also test what antibiotics it's resistant too. So Clindamycin is the back up option except whatever GBS I had was resistant to it. The only annoying part of it all was how long it took. They were really slow to administer it. I know its super hard to administer (it's a really big molecule and does't like to infuse well, though it is really good at its job!), so I was wondering if you know why they chose it for you?
