It was at a large bank and there were layoffs every quarter which made it even more stressful. I was so overwhelmed that I didn't even know what to do about it. I wound up getting clipped in the fourth round of layoffs, and I was SO RELIEVED. It was the best thing that has happened to me in my career.</p> <p>All this to say... As someone who quit working after a lot of stress to look after LO, I can say it was the best thing I did for my mental health! I'm heading back soon but now I'm really excited and looking forward to getting into something new. Just take each day as it comes &amp; don't let other people make you feel weird about quitting, I know that was hard for me at times. As others have said, no job is worth that stress, and life is too short!
