Thanks guys. Paranoid FTM here. TeleHealth says it's a virus, DH thinks the sleeper she wore last night hadn't been washed first. In any case, nothing to worry about!

DS had SOOO many weird rashes his first year, and every time I went into the doc for it they just said "must be a virus." They never got too bad, and I didn't worry if it didn't seem to bother him. If she doesn't seem too bothered by it, I wouldn't worry too much :)

Could it be a heat rash? Otherwise I agree about the sensitive skin.

I'd stop using the lotion and anything else that's scented and with dyes. Babies can develop sensitivities. Are any of the spots splotchy and hive-like? Did you eat anything weird today?

Hard to see from the picture! Contact dermatitis? Did you use a new detergent? Put unwashed new clothes on LO?

I have a call in to TeleHealth, but I can't help but freak out a bit while I am waiting for a call back.

K is 3 months old, and yesterday I noticed a few raised bumps on her stomach. I thought it was just some dry skin- I put some un scented baby lotion (that we use all the time) on, and left it alone. Today, the raised bumps are all over her stomach and legs. She's a little more cranky than usual, and a bit warm but with no fever.

Any ideas on what this might be?
