I work at a big university, and students usually walk around in their own little worlds. But once the belly got REALLY big, I was surprised and thrilled to find that most of them (male and female) went out of their ways to help out. On the other hand, when I flew in my third trimester, no one was kind at all, even when I was visibly struggling with luggage. I had men push past me for subway seats and I it made me ill to witness. By the time I was ready to leave the store, it was pouring down rain. As I pushed my cart toward my car, two employees came running out in the rain to help me load my groceries in the car. They insisted that I sit down (in the driver's seat) and just let them take care of it. I have been getting awesome treatment from people I never met! </p> <p>I just came from the bank and while walking towards the glass exit door I noticed a man leaning on it peering outside with his back toward me. As I was within reach of the handle he turned, noticed me, my belly, apologised THREE times and grabbed the handle to open for me. So sweet! I need to make good use of this belly for the next 4 mnths :wink: </p>
