I wore my wedding band on a chain around my neck, and wore that to the hospital. I had to made DH take it off sometime during pushing, though. I was throwing up a lot, and the extra pressure on my neck wasn't helping. I was glad I did, bc I got very swollen from all the fluids in the IV - I think they would have been painful for the day after delivery if I'd left them on. Upon admission to the hospital I was told I had to remove all jewelry (apparently hospital policy).
