Every single time. It sucks but that's how to ditch most unpleasant behaviors. I usually give him a toy or pass a snack back but sometimes I don't have anything to hand back there. I think reminding him that we are inside and screaming is an "outside voice" might help! I like the idea of completely removing him too, that might work when we aren't in the car. We've given him time out a couple times but maybe I just need to kick it up a notch and give him timeout every time. Set LO down and then deliberately turn your back to LO. Stay that way for 30-60 seconds. I think she's just fascinated by what her voice can do. I whisper to her to pleas use an inside voice and also will "scream" in a whisper to show her. He just randomly screams at the top of his lungs. </p> <p>Any suggestions for curbing? Scolding him just seems to feed the beast. Ignoring isn't much more effective. </p> <p>I have a pounding headache and have given him a package of fruit snacks for a few moments of relative quiet. </p> <p>Any tips, commiseration, or wine would be greatly appreciated ;) </p>
