I feel better just venting about it. I can't believe my DH doesn't care, but then again, he didn't care about trees when we were house hunting, so why should he care now. It's dark out, so I can't see much, but I am going to go out in the morning and check the stumps. I think two of the trees were on our side, but they might actually be on the property line. We still have stakes in the ground from having it surveyed, so should be easy to tell.</p> <p>Thanks for the tree suggestions. I'm going to look them up. DH said we're not spending money on trees, but I'm not going to be happy unless something goes in there.</p> <p>Ugh! I came home to find my neighbors chopping down all the nice 30'+ evergreen trees seperating our two houses (about 6-7 of them). Now the one side of our property looks into the yards of the next three houses on our side of the street, instead of into a little grove of trees. I even think two of the trees were on our property!</p> <p>I tried to vent to my DH but he said, "I don't care if there are trees or not and I don't remember which ones were on our property. I don't want to talk about it." </p> <p>Humph! So annoyed and sad the trees are gone! I actually cried about it! Privacy was really important to me (but not to DH) when we were house shopping... it was a compromise for me to buy this house because it is exposed in the back to another house (but at least had trees on the sides)... now it is even worse. :( I know I should be happy to have a house, and I am, but poo! </p>
