But I'm pretty sure I never had issues with face painting. I just got it done last year and didn't have any problems. Though I'm glad you mentioned it so it can be on my radar. The first and last time she got it, she rashed up within 10 minutes of it! Not sure if the face paint has what she's allergic and/or sensitive to in it, but I, like PP's, am wary of face paint because of the double dipping and brushes being clean. I was never able to get face paint. It tapered off as I became a teenager. We removed the facepaint before bedtime but while we were reading books, my daughter complained that her face was itchy. Where the paint had been applied on one side of her face, she had broken out in a rash!</p> <p>The rash had disappeared by morning, but now I will be much more wary about facepaint in the future. Have you guys ever deal with rashes/irritation from facepaint? </p>
