I bought a swim trunk for my LO, but he didn't last very long in the pool (maybe 10 mins) even though it was a heated indoor pool. So I got him Konfidence baby warma wetsuit and he lasts up to an hour. It's all Velcro so it's easy to put on and take off. It's one of the best baby purchases I ever made.

We have both. My parents have indoor and outdoor pools so, we'll put her in a bathing suit for indoor pool fun and rash guard for outdoor pool fun.

We are doing short sleeved rash guards with a coordinating bottom. Lands end sells great ones.

Rash guard + reusable swim diaper. I got a rash guard set from Carter's and it came with swim trunks, but not even sure if we'll use the swim trunks at all.

if you're spending extended periods in the sun, they also sell full body suits. That way, you use less sunscreen too.

i put her in a one piece now with a rash guard over. If you want sets look at snapper rock. They have a bunch of long sleeve rash guards with matching bottoms. Roxy also has a bunch of long sleeve rash guards and I just buy their bottoms separate. The problem I find with sets is my daughter is a skinny minnie so the bottoms are always too big. So I use a one piece now but she's also potty trained now. I also look for one pieces that are easy to take off, usually a hook closure around the neck and one in the back so it basically slides off like a bottom vs. her trying to get her arms and body back into a wet bathing suit.

I'll get a rash guard and just have her wear bottoms from a suit she already has. I don't really care if she matches.

I did rash guards and bottoms do all four kids. Costco often has sets but they are usually disney characters. I also found sets at carters and target.

What are you getting for your LO this summer?
Why do most long sleeved rash guards NOT come with bottoms?
