We always put sunscree/block. And then either a regular bathing suit or rashguard. She was much younger last year so we were only out for like 15-20 minutes at a time. This year I'm looking for a long sleeved rashguard because we'll be out in the backyard swimming for much longer.

Rash guard, sunscreen and hat! But I'm pretty sure she has my skin...and I burn even with SPF 1000000. @lawbee11: Doesn't BG have the cutest swimsuits this year?!

Rashguard, sunscreen, hat! Xander has very fair skin and if he's anything like his Mama, he probably burns really easily.

@lawbee11: Wait, YOU got something at baby Gap? What? :)

We won't be at the beach that much, but we have a hand me down rash guard top and swim suit bottom that I plan to use, plus sun screen and a sun hat. C is fair like her daddy (not that I am so dark myself-- I wear higher SPF than DH does). I'll probably get another rash guard, depending how often we go out, so we can alternate.

Rash guard and sunscreen plus a hat. He has fair skin, we live in FL, and we spend a lot of time by the water. It's important to me to keep him covered. I cover myself quite a big now since I spent so many weeks of my youth burned to a crisp. I burn so easily, so I tend to judge his protection on what I need at the time.

@MamaG: LO wore a long sleeved/long pants (one piece) rash guard in Mexico and he was cool as a cucumber! Ithink the trick is to buy it a bit big so it's not tight/constricting.

rashguard and sunscreen. my mom got her a one-piece rash guard, but I think I"ll get her a two piece (long sleeved top/diaper) as well. I do have a super cute bathing suit for her, but I figure I"ll use it if we are in the baby pool early in the day or later when the sun isn't directly on her, and we're only out for a little while. I feel like I will inevitably miss something if I'm just doing sunscreen!

Swimsuit and sunscreen. DD will get a little pink just from being warm, but she's got great skin.

We probably should consider a rash guard, but it feels counter-intuitive to me (like she'd be warmer).
