@Shantuck: I'm in Texas, so it's pretty hot!

@BabyBoecksMom: I am. I'll try a different type and see if that helps.

It might be eczema. I got that during the pregnancy with my first baby and it got worse post-part. It would go away if I used the lotions.

@Mrs. Pickle: are you putting lotion on your stomach? I wonder if it's a mixture of the full panel pants, TX heat and maybe lotion/oil you use?

I developed tinea versicolor with my first pregnancy and I've had it ever since. My back, chest and stomach are coveted in little red patches. Google-image to compare if that's what you have.

It's harmless but a pain to get rid of- almost impossible while pregnant or breastfeeding cause the best way involves oral antifungals.

Is it hot where you are? I had something similar on my neck during late pregnancy and my doctor told me it was heat rash. It had been about 90-100 degrees during that time and it went away for good shortly after I delivered.

@Mrs. Pickle: I had that. I figured it was from my panelled clothing. Midwife told me not to worry. It has gotten a lot better lately, only a few little sort of bumps/marks there right now, but not itchy or raised either. I have been trying to let my stomach breathe at night. Also, one day I exfoliated in the shower and then put on coconut oil and let my tummy air dry. That's what I try to do after showering now. I don't know if I recommend exfoliating though...I only did it once and I guess the skin on your stretched stomach is more sensitive than other skin; so my tummy was red for a while and hurt a little bit. I had thought that I could have been getting blocked hair follicles and having a rash as a result, which is why I exfoliated with one of those skin brushes. Maybe I was, who knows!

Does anyone have any experience with stomach rashes during pregnancy? I've got a rash across my bump that comes and goes. It's there more often than not. The bumps aren't raised and they don't itch. It isn't bothering me other than the fact that it looks bad. The only thing I can think of is maybe it's irritation from wearing full panel shorts and sweating. It looks pretty bad today so I'm going to mention it to my doctor at my appointment next week.
