Update – DD had a couple new blisters this morning so I took her into the pediatrician. They think that it is a very mild case of HFM. She hasn't even had any fever!

I think pediatricians can tell a lot by pics, so I'd trust her!

@Mrs.KMM: as long as it's not bothering her and they don't get worse I would probably wait until Monday.

Well the pediatrician is closed until Monday. She doesn't seem at all bothered by them. Do you think it's fine to wait until Monday (assuming they don't get worse)?

Those don't look like HFM blisters to me. My girls also never got blisters from crawling. I would call and ask my ped too.

Doesn't look like HFM to me. C has gotten rough spots on her toes when I didn't realize her shoes were too small but not that many. I'd bring her to the doc too.

I believe HFM blisters are much smaller and red, but I haven't personally seen them. I would get your LO into the doctor just to be sure. My girls never had blisters from crawling on hard floors (although, one did get pretty bruised knees from it).

In the last few days, DH and I have noticed these blisters and a small rash on DD's feet and left thumb. In the last 1.5 weeks, she has gotten very good at crawling and is everywhere around our house (foam mat, carpet, and hardwood). She has also recently mastered pulling herself up on the furniture and cruising.

Does this just look like rubbing from crawling and standing? Or is this what the beginning of HFM disease looks like? Or is it something else entirely?
