Now I have a lingual bar across the bottom six to prevent shifting, and the rest have stayed straight. They used to be super white, but wine and coffee over the past few years have made them a little yellow. Then I have these permenant holders in the back to make sure they don't shift again! My top teeth are nice and straight and my teeth are naturally quite white but they could be better. I had braces for a short while but my hair actually started falling out (in clumps!!) back when I had them as a kid so my orthodontist took them out and the hair loss stopped. My bottom teeth weren't an issue at al, but my ortho's treatment plan consisted of extracting teeth at the top &amp; bottom. My gap is closed, but now I have spaces on the sides. At least the front looks good. And I have noticed my bottom teeth are sinking! The worse thing is I cannot do anything else to fix my teeth because the braces left my roots short. </p> <p>Anyway, if it weren't for those things I would be rather happy with my teeth.
