As long as you get it from a reputable farmer you should be fine!!! </p> <p>I want to try it but not when I'm pregnant and not until the kids are older. </p> <p>For now we occasionally buy low temp pasteurized, non homogenized milk. My mom also started my older sister on raw cow's milk at 3 months because she was having trouble BFing.</p> <p>In my limited experience from childhood, I find that dairy farmers are VERY concerned about bacteria levels and have to test constantly to be able to sell, to it's pretty safe to drink raw.
