I have heard a lot about relactation so I know it's possible although I haven't done it myself. Good for you, though. Hang in there.

I just wanted to say good luck! I stopped BFing DS at 4 weeks and regretted it soon after. DH was deployed and I didn't have the support I needed to try relactation. I hope you are successful!! Please remember that you haven't failed either way. Formula will not be the end of the world!

There's a guide to increasing your milk supply:

http://www.hellobee.com/2011/09/28/increasing-your-milk-supply/

I used Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle and they worked well for me! Good luck!

Due to a lot of factors, not the least of which was a deep depression from my traumatic birth experience, I stopped BFing LO when she was around a week old. She's 5 weeks and 2 days now, so i've only not been BFing for 4 weeks. Well, I have decided that I want to try and go back to BFing now that I have regained a little bit of my mental stability. I've been feeling guilty that I gave up too easily and I want to make sure I give it my best try before I call it quits. My milk isn't gone yet and I still leak regularly, so I know there is some possibility.

I am going to see a LC tomorrow and she is going to set me up with a pump and a supplemental nursing system so that I can try and get at least some of my supply back. I also have some fenugreek and mother's milk tea that I am going to start using. I know that I may never be able to EBF, but I want to do what I can.

Has anyone else done this? Any tips for upping my supply?
