@MerryC: @googly-eyes: I called his ped this morning. that is actually the arm where he had his MMR vaccination and she said it is most likely just a local reaction that took a while to show up? He's totally fine so she said unless he spikes a fever or more show up not to worry and just keep an eye on it!

@MerryC: That's what they told us too. Our pediatrician warned us about that!

I don't know about the spot, but I've read that reactions from that vax are commonly 7-10 days post injection, so the timeline could still be reasonable.

@babyjmama: haha ! He was so mad at me for holding him still!!! Gonna call the nurse tomorrow ! I would normally think bug bite but he has had on long sleeves 24/7 and it's right at the injection site?

I've got no advice other than don't be so rough on my little man or I'll have to come swoop him up! :silly:

Maybe call the ped tomorrow and just describe it to the nurse? They can tell you whether it's normal or not, I hope!

Does this look like a reaction to chicken pox vaccine ? The doc said said he could get a few spots but the vaccine was 2 wks ago. This showed up a couple of days ago. You can't tell in the pic but it is almost a litte white / puss in the middle. Hard to describe. It feels scaly/ rough on top. It isn't bothering him at all. Acting normal. No fever. Pardon the death grip. Slippy bath baby !
