But I do talk a lot. And my husband does too. At this point, I figure the baby can't tell what we're saying, so we just have normal conversation. Same thing as @Truth Bombs: ! Even when LO was a little baby we didn't start reading right away (although it can be beneficial), but we talked to her all the time! Her verbal skills have been above her age group for a long time. Hopefully it'll be the same with her brother.
