Station Eleven was a pick for my book club and I did not expect to even like it, but holy crap did it surprise me. One of the best I've read in a long time.</p> <p>Currently reading Donna Tartt's "The Secret History" because it's beloved by so many people and I just never got around to it. It’s a quick read though and is a fun way to pass the time.</p> <p>The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman. Weird and very different novel, but also really good and I keep thinking about it after finishing it. It’s definitely different though, and I don’t think everyone will like it.</p> <p>Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn (author of Gone Girl): simply terrible. Rubbish. Don’t waste your time. It’s clear Flynn *hates* women and has no respect for women. There were both glaring editing errors in the book, and every relationship was totally predictable. I finished it, hoping it would get better.
