Pre-kids I used to have about 5 days- two of very light flow (first day and last) and three of medium flow. Now I have three days-- one of light, one super-heavy, and one medium. That pattern has stayed the same both times I got my period back post-partum (so after Ellie, and again after Lorelei). The heavy part is really heavy, and hasn't gotten any better (I think I'm on my 5th cycle-- got my period back a while after Lorelei turned one). I've gotten used to it, I guess. I've never had heavy periods in the past so I'm not used to this. I leaked through two tampons yesterday after they were only in 2-3 hours, and then switched to pads and I was changing those every two hours. Did anyone experience this? Did it get any better? Sometimes I think life would be so much easier if I was a man. lol </p>
