I had to leave before he got to the cleaning phase, and the building manager promised that she would 'supervise'. He pushed it back, and I had to wash all our sheets and blankets and dust along the edge of our bed and window sill. </p> <p>He's not mad that they made the hole to fix the AC. He's mad cause they didn't clean up after themselves and are planning to come back today and do more wall fixing, and he's worried about the dust for when they sand it.</p> <p>He's all ready to move out, now. We can move it over and make it a pain every day for them to have to move it back to work on the wall. Then move it back again tomorrow so that they have to move again on Thursday. I just dare them to say something.</p> <p>That is if DH and I can move it, but we can at least try. I had a bad experience too - the dryer vent cover on the outside of the building broke, so birds would fly into the vent, get stuck and die. It happened FOUR times (with us calling maintenance every time) to get it fixed. We could hear the poor birds flopping around in the vent. It was a pain to fix and totally preventable by the builder. Unit #308's (2 floors up) AC unit is leaking. So, right now there's a man cutting a large hole in my bedroom wall to fix it. My cats are caged (and unhappy) in the laundry room.</p> <p>DH is telling me to keep pictures of it, cause we're NOT living with a hole in the wall. I told the maintenance guy this, too, so they had better make this quick and painless. I can't have my cats crawling in the walls of this building.</p> <p>*edit: look at this hole! Ahh!!
