@Rubies: I thought the same thing (even though I repinned it). Good to know before I waste my time.

I did those too. They're good for a couple of minutes and then I'd just have to stick them back in the freezer, not really worth it.

I also tried yogurt covered strawberries but they were way too hard to eat. And I did the dried strawberries where you put them in the oven for a while and they were gross. It just took all the good flavor out of them.

I saw the recipe and the first thing I thought was, "I wonder if they melt?"...Now I know.

That's too bad that was a fail, I had thought about trying something similar.

I read somewhere that if you add gelatin, it makes frozen pops and yogurt melt slower, I have to see if I can find something online.

I thought about making those for the summer but figured I'd use popsicle molds instead. Actually, I have popsicle molds I bought years ago I've never used - so maybe I'll make them this weekend.

I saw this recipe for making your own frozen yogurt drops:

http://pinterest.com/pin/104216178847170541/

and I spent a good part of today making drops in all kinds of flavors, styling and photographing the process, etc. charlie loves yogurt covered raisins but they're so expensive so i made yogurt covered raisins, chocolate chips, blueberries, and raspberries.

well after they froze, i realized that they melt so fast (like ice cream), they're not really practical for charlie to eat by hand.

recipe fail.

have you made anything that was a recipe fail?
