You can also make pesto out of chard and freeze any excess before adding the cheese. We did that as an alternative to our normal stir fry when we had a lot and it was delicious!

I steam or saute it, and then put mayo on it -- it sounds disgusting, but it tastes soooo good (my husband is totally not convinced). It's how my grandma always eats it.

I use chard the same way I use kale. Roasted with beets and tossed in balsamic vinegar is yummy. Or sautéed with oil, garlic and bacon!!

I've made a great dish with Swiss chard - it's Swiss chard/potato enchiladas. Sounds weird, but it's very good. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/swiss-chard-and-potato-enchiladas-recipe/index.html

I usually just do a quick savory stir fry with it. Little garlic, olive oil, s&p, garlic salt and tomatoes if I have it.

I made a really good quiche with swiss chard. Let me see if I can find the recipe...Here: http://www.food.com/recipe/crustless-swiss-chard-quiche-311434

I like that you can pretty much put whatever you want in it. I like goat or feta cheese.

I was at the farmers market and bought a beautiful bouquet of swiss chard. Of course I didn't have anything in mind for it and all the recipes I normally make that use it, I am missing the other ingredients.

Do you have any recipes for swiss chard? I'm thinking maybe a soup?

I'll take anything :)
