Are you doing the pasta from scratch as well? If so, I highly recommend a pasta attachment for the kitchenaid stand mixer--it makes it so easy and fun! Dh and I love making fresh pasta :) I"ll try to find a good recipe!

I love baking things that are not expected to be homemade ... graham crackers, soft pretzels, that sort of thing. I think Alton Brown has recipes for both (and lots of other goodies!) online.

Ok, so as I await baby (12 more weeks), I am not working and have graduated my schooling...so I have nothing to do. After I clean my house and run some errands everyday: it is still like...noon!

So, I decided i'd try to learn how to make some dishes I've always liked and never tried.
So far I've made:

-roast duck
-chicken cacciatore
-and homemade spaghetti and meatballs

Any other ideas on what I should try to cook to kill time? Even if you don't have the recipe per se, if you give me ideas I can probably look up the recipe!
