(I havent ever needed to do this but i think i have seen other people do it?) Im not sure if they all have this, but our infant seat had a bubble indicator that showed whether it was in the safe incline range. Maybe you could tilt it back a bit without having to have a seat that reclines further. Or, since lo is already 3 months, just switch to a convertable early? You'd typically get less of a recline with a convertible. </p> <p>That being said, our Britax B-Safe seemed to have a pretty good recline.
