Overall it was still good though, we were just not very good with it.</p> <p>@Mrs. Microscope: same here with the color indicator, it seems good enough for at home use. ETA, and we've had it I think almost 4 years?? But I bought the cheapest Walgreens brand and have a Braun temporal one. I was at the doctor's office recently and they took my temp with an ear thermometer. It literally took 3 seconds for her to get my temp. We have a rectal thermometer we've used when LO has a high fever, but I need one for "normal" fevers. :) </p>
