She's an Irish writer. Her books are fantastic. I couldn't put a single one of them down. My favorite of hers is Faithful Place, but you can't go wrong with any of them. She has 4 - Into the Woods, The Likeness, Faithful Place, and Broken Harbor. Would be good nursing reads. I've also been reading Rick Riordans juvenile series on greek and egyptian mythology while nursing at night and I kind of love them :)</p> <p>The Red Tent is a really nice historical/biblical fiction book, if you like that sort of thing.
