It's pretty wide, but it fits really well in our Nissan Versa. I really liked the Gracos, they have long-lasting RF height limits (esp. We were deciding between that and the diono radian. We will probably go with a Cosco scenera or a cheaper graco for our extra seat. WE have a Britax Blvd (free) and a Max Cosi Pria. I really like both but LO is going to outgrow the RF limits soon since her height is all in her torso :( </p> <p>So now that I have looked into more I think for affordability and good Rf limits I would have gone with a Graco. So that made the decision pretty easy for us. </p> <p>My big criteria were: had to fit in our car (duh); high RF height and weight limits, since I want to RF as long as we can, but C is pretty small so I wasn't overly concerned; seat belt lock off, because we don't have latch in our car. </p> <p>You can use the BBB 20% coupons on chicco, which helps with the price. So that's why we got it. Super easy to tighten and losen the straps (WAY easier than our much more expensive Maxi Cosi Pria!). I don't know where to start when looking for a convertible car seat. What do you have?</p> <p>I need to find a good balance of quality and value. We can't shell out big bucks, but I don't want to get stuck with a dinky one either. I know the Chicco next fit is a good brand...but it's a little high for us. </p> <p>We'll actually be getting two...one for my car (large sedan) and one for our SUV. </p>
