I was inspired by the dyson post (I hate carrying my dyson all over just to clean up little messes.)

I've owned two Dustbusters in the past 5 years, and both lost their battery charge within a year. (I'd leave it on the charger, but when i go to use it, it only works for about 30 seconds before it peeters out and dies.

I looked up new dustbuster batteries and they cost basically as much as a new entire vacuum would. So, anyone have a good handheld vac that they really like? I'd like to keep it under $100 if possible.

I just want something I can use to vacuum crumbs off the car seats, or pick up a quick spill in the kitchen without hauling out the big vacuum.
