@Beehive: I like that bag! We also use a Fjallraven product, the Kanken backpack. The shoulder straps aren't the most comfortable, but it usually hangs on the stroller. I can fit everything for DS into it and I like the style. It is also machine washable and I've had it for 3 or 4 years now and it is still in excellent shape.

I travel with a nice backpack. It seems to work the best for us. Backpacks fit so much so be careful not to overload it! Have fun!!! :)

We use this bag from Fjallraven as our diaper bag - it's a nice size (smaller than most diaper bags), and converts from a tote to a backpack: http://www.fjallraven.us/collections/numbers-bags/products/totepack-no-1

Most of the time I just use our regular diaper bag because it fits so much. It is basically a big purse. There have a been a few times were I used one of those skip hop backpack. It was small and easy to take but I had to pair down to the basics.

I use a backpack when we fly. I load it with smaller kits packed in ziplock bags so I can see what is in there without taking everything out.

The backpack idea sounds good, especially if you have a lot to carry. I just used my regular Coach diaper bag and it worked out pretty well but something easier to close would have been better probably. I like the backpack idea!

About to head out on a business trip with LO next week and thinking I might need to pack a different diaper bag for our trip. Thinking maybe a backpack or other more comfortable bag. I currently use a Kate Spade but it's a bit bulky for travel.

Any thoughts/recommendations?
