LO has 2 pairs of waterproof, winter mittens, but apparently, they're both impossible to put on! We were caught in a blizzard today (our first ever) and my poor little girl's hands were freezing when we got home! Doubling up cozy, yet non-waterproof mittens were no bueno

Please recommend some functional mittens.

ETA: I ordered a nice, zippered pair on Zulily last week, but with my luck, I'm not getting them until spring. I need them now.
