So we can set the temp in his room and it automatically goes on and off. We used it all last winter and it was perfect. One thing I will strongly recommend is to buy an outlet thermostat switch before using the space heater. We were under the impression that the space heater had its own internal thermostat, but one night, DH heard LO wimpering and when he went in there, he said it was like 100 deg. The worst part is, even though we were suuuuper careful (to the point where her room was usually too cold), it happened again about two months later. That's when I finally researched and found the outlet switch.
