I love Foogo! It keeps the drinks cold for an extended amount of time, super easy to take apart and clean, and doesn't leak unless it's completely upside down with the lid open.

@SproutBee: did taking the top off break it or are you able to put it back on? I'd love to check ours, but if there isn't any mold, I want to be able to keep using it.

Thermos Funtainer! I think its almost the same as the Foogo. They are pricey ($15) so if you want to buy a bunch of plastic cups and not care when you lose them - not the cup for you, but we've been able to keep track of them. They are louder when dropped/thrown than a plastic one would be. But they are stainless steel and they keep beverages SO COLD for a long time. We actually use ours only for water now so we can be lazy about actually cleaning them but they come apart very easily to wash, and when they are closed we have never had a problem with leaking.

think baby straw cup. It's awesome and easy to clean. Plus you can also get the handles for it so it's easy for her to hold onto when she's still learning.

My LOs love the Lollacup. I tried a million others first since it's pricy, but DD1 had similar issues and this was the cup that got her drinking. It has a quick flow and weighted straw for if/when they do tip it. We bought two and haven't needed any others or replacement straws since (2 years). She does have a Foogo for on the go though because the Lolla leaks every now and then. It doesn't spill when my 9 month old chucks it though!

Have you tried practicing with just a normal straw and not a sippy cup straw? That's how both my boys got good with sippy cup straws. We would practice with smoothies and DS2 got it with lemonade. So then they could drink out of any kind.

The munchkin ones are my favorite.

@Mae: since she is still throwing a lot, definitely start with water in the take and toss! And still when I give her milk in the t&t I only fill it like a third of the way and just refill as needed. She hardly throws at this point but still occasionally drops things anyway.

With the foogo you have to suck harder (more suction) to get it out. But I wouldn't say any harder than the take n toss cups. But you definitely have to work harder than the zoli.

We use contigo for water (Stryker or something)- but she always stole mine so she knew how to drink out of it.

For milk we mostly use take and toss, only at home. It will leak if you knock it over, and occasionally she drops it off the high hair and it lands just right and the whole top pops off. So it's not perfect, but easy to clean and no mold issues. We also use the thermos foogo cup when we are out or traveling and it really doesn't leak unless she's banging it on the tray. But I've heard the straw can get moldy if you aren't careful. I always keep it in the fridge or wash right away and haven't had a problem yet.

We swear by B. Box, which is similar to the Zoli. We've not had issues with mold yet - the replacement straw set comes with a little wire brush to clean the inside of the straws.. That being said, we had to get the replacement straws because of an issue you mentioned - chewing the straw off.. Oy Vey.

Anyway, it's still our favorite cup we've tried. (And boy have we tried. I posted something similar to this months ago and ended up getting literally like 6 or 7 sippys of amazon prime that night...)

@regberadaisy: I don't think it is a matter of how hard she sucks, but rather how much comes out when she does suck...? Like zoli and the nuby 2 handle are pretty "fast flow" with suction. She can drink fast without much effort. The other ones require a lot of suction and you get a tiny stream of liquid and she gets pissed off and refuses to keep trying. 15 mo old says Ain't Nobody Got Time for That. ;) any idea if the foogoo is relatively fast flow? Also I assume its the 11 ounce clear straw cup you're talking about? I looked on amazon but there are a few types.

@gotkimchi: that's one we've tried. Too hard to suck/not enough comes out.

@FaithFertility: might give it a try. especially because they are relatively cheap. reviews on them aren't great on amazon but if you like them might be worth trying!

Is her suck strong enough yet for a foogo straw cup? I have the thinkbaby and leak wise it's better than the zoli but it still leaks. But it's definitely better about not leaking when there's milk in it. A lot of straw cups that don't leak with water leak with milk. It's like the pressure pushed it out of the straw!

@MrsLonghorn: oh man I got really excited for a minute because that is not one that I've come across and it sounded good. Then I clicked on the user pics and they are all about mold :( Including this one. Ew. Probably not so bad with water but I imagine this would be a big problem with milk (the review said there is no easy way to get the dome off for regular cleaning? This lady pried it off with a screw driver).
