Just want to update that I love the Bravado tank that I ordered. It's supportive, fitted, and perfect as a layering piece for going out of the house. I like how substantial it feels. I got brought red, since it was the only color available for my size, and it's fine.

Thanks for the rec, @Foodnerd81:

@blackbird: @Foodnerd81: woah sweet! I just ordered a bravado one on babysteals, which I'd never heard of, but seems like a nice site. Thanks! One bravado and one glamourmom, both discounted, and I should be set. Woo!

@MoonMoon: bravado tanks are on babysteals.com today for 50% off ($25 instead of $50). Might not have all the sizes but it's a good deal if they have a size and color you like.

The glamourmom and bravada tanks are supportive! I've had my glamourmom tank for years and it's losing its support but it's way better than the two target tanks I bought this weekend....the target ones are ok for around the house but the glamourmom (I have the long full bust one) and the bravada ones are ok to wear out in public! I prefer the length on the glamourmom one since I'm a bit fluffy PP right now

@MoonMoon: @andthewildones: I did not think the h&m ones were supportive at all. Fine for early days and around the house but they really did nothing to lift my chest. And the shelf was too small for me to wear a nursing bra underneath. It's possible mine were just too big- I ordered my regular size and they were very loose everywhere. I was about a 36D to DD while nursing.

The Glamourmom full bust ones are really great. I got two new ones on eBay for $45 ea rather than the 60something they usually retail for. I also have one Bravado tank. It is pretty good, but I don't like the fit quite as well. The band isn't adjustable at all and on me the 34 is a little bit uncomfortably tight, the 36 was worthlessly large. All my other tanks were from Motherhood sales; I could not describe any of them as supportive. (34 or 36 DD here)

@andthewildones: do you find them pretty supportive? That is such a good price! My DH is laughing at me thinking of spending $$$ on nursing tips this far in!

@marionberry: I thought of Motherhood Maternity first, but all their nursing tanks seemed very roomy/bulky? Are there some that are more fitted and snug for layering?

I have just always worn the Motherhood Maternity ones. I find them to be great, supportive, and perfect for wearing underneath clothes. Plus they're pretty cheap, which is always nice.

I liked the bravado nursing tanks best. Not super fitted in the waist but more than any other I tried, and the bust was as supportive as my nursing bras. I'm planning to treat myself to one or two more with the next baby- they are about $50 but can be found on Baby Steals or other discount sites sometimes.

I have loved my Glamourmom tanks. They have a full bust style (I am a 34 K so I need the support!) and I find them as supportive as most of my nursing bras.

Hi all,

I figured is high time I treat myself to a couple of new nursing tanks because DS is showing no signs of slowing down his nursing and I've been wearing the same 2 Target tanks for 2 years! My issue with those is they're not very supportive for a larger bust (I'm DD) and aren't fitted enough. Obviously a newly postpartum mom needs more room, but since I'm 2 years out I'd love a more fitted shape.

So, clip down style, supportive (built in cups or bra design?), flattering, and fitted enough for layering... Does such a top exist? What have you used and loved?

Thanks!
