So I think a great brand/line for you could be Mario Badescu. It is really high quality and on the more natural side. It's a beauty editor fave (I worked at one of the top beauty mags before having my son and it was always on the top of their lists).
Go to his website and "shop by regimen".
https://www.mariobadescu.com
You'll see all the skin types they treat (dry, dry/combo, dry/mature, etc) and can read an explanation of each to figure out what is most "you". And then they list every product to combat those issues. I would literally get everything they list and start a really nice skin ritual for yourself. And it's very reasonable for how quality it is. A step well above drug store but not as luxury as some of the stuff at Sephora.

My sister has HIGHLY problematic skin (dry with severe cystic acne) and besides a great facial she says this line is what helped her the most.

I would also consider an enzyme or AHA/BHA exfoliant 1-2 times a week. Since you're so dry it will help to make your skin less dull. Mario Badescu does have an enzyme mask that I like but if you don't have time to dedicate to a mask there are some great toner/pads you can use. I'm using Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting Lotion right now. It is initially drying while your skin gets used to it but the longer term results are fantastic.
Also as I think @littlebit or someone else mentioned in my other thread, Peter Thomas Roth makes some pads that are exfoliating. He also has a pumpkin enzyme mask that I'm obsessed with. Again, they may seem harsh but it is good to do this occasionally to clear away dead skin cells.

Good luck!

@SweetiePie: I would say it's pretty dry overall, I used to have more of an oily t-zone, but now even that is dry/flaky (barf)

@SweetiePie: wow - that's a great deal! I'll have to keep an eye out at tjmaxx! I love the orange soap and the nighttime serum in the blue vial and the green mask (lol can't remember any of the names!)

@JerricaBenton: great brand for sure! I mentioned his cloud cream in my other thread but we also have his foaming face wash (so gentle but effective, my husband also uses it exclusively) and I got the BEST deal at TJMaxx. 5 of the PTR masks in a kit and they aren't sample sizes - they are huge - for $50. So $10 per mask. They are amazing and I love rotating those throughout the week.

I love everything by Peter Thomas Roth. I've used lots of things that feel nice but all the stuff by ptr I can see working overnight.

Piggy backing off of @Littlebit7:, what is your skin type? And what do you do/use right now, if anything?

I also really recommend checking out VioletGrey.com and also dermstore.com. They have lots of options. VioletGrey is a bit more curated and probably high end. Dermstore has everything from drug store to high end.

Also, birchbox! That's how I really started getting into skincare and beauty. You take a survey and for $10 a month they send generous samples of products they think you'd like. And you earn points when you purchase a full size. You can do month to month so it's not a huge commitment (and they don't make it hard to cancel at all! You just click a button on their website).

(Obviously Sephora is also amazing but I wanted to offer a couple other options).

I'd stop in to sephora and see what they reccomend or see if they have any samples for you to try out. Sometime they make skin care sampler packs to try a bunch out

I really like peter Thomas Roth,Sunday Riley and Clinique.

Also the boots line at target is great

I'd get two products, one for day and one for night. I find I can get away with and like something a tiny bit heavier for night.

Apologies for no specific reccs but it's hard not knowing your skin type. But if you ask around at sephora some people are really knowledgeable and helpful!!

I'm looking for a product I can put on either morning or night that will help take care of my skin. Something that will help treat/prevent wrinkles and improve/tighten skin tone would be great! I can order online and we have a sephora near by! I've never used anything but the makeup thread inspired me
