We just love ours so I hope yours continues working as long as ours has!
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2269060 Thu, 20 Aug 2015 19:54:00 +0000 Mrs. Sunshine 2269060@https://boards.hellobee.com/
@Mrs. Pen: I really didn't want to spend a ton on a blender so I bought on Oster per your recommendation and I LOVE it! My old one didn't work that well ever, not even new! Best $40 I've ever spent.
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265604 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 21:40:20 +0000 Mrs. Pen 2265604@https://boards.hellobee.com/
I've used a vitamix and it is awesome, however I couldnt afford it... We have a $30 ouster from target and honestly it's incredible. We've had it over 5 years and it still works perfectly. The only piece that broke was the plastic screw piece at the bottom, and Amazon sells replacements for cheap.
I've used my parents vitamix, but my oyster is an amazing value.

Also I adore my Hamilton beach immersion blender. I love it! I use both of them equally.
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265585 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 21:06:56 +0000 Mrs. Sunshine 2265585@https://boards.hellobee.com/
Looks like Vitamix is the winner! Now, any tips on how to convince my DH that it's worth it? lol Maybe this have to be one of those times I ask for forgiveness instead of "permission"...ha!
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265528 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 20:12:59 +0000 yin 2265528@https://boards.hellobee.com/
Vitamix!
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265503 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 19:45:44 +0000 mfa_lady 2265503@https://boards.hellobee.com/
Another vote for Vitamix! We make smoothies all the time, and I've also made soup in mine! Just tonight I used it to blend up fresh pesto. YUM!
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265429 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 18:20:04 +0000 chopsuey 2265429@https://boards.hellobee.com/
We have a blendtec. It's a tough price tag to swallow, but so worth it.
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265386 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 16:58:18 +0000 travellingbee 2265386@https://boards.hellobee.com/
We also got a refurbished Blendtec and love it!
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265356 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 16:28:34 +0000 gingerbebe 2265356@https://boards.hellobee.com/
We love our Vitamix. I got mine at Costco - they always have a great deal on it or the Blendtec.
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265333 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 16:09:59 +0000 BSB 2265333@https://boards.hellobee.com/
I had an Hamilton beach blender and saw a refurbished Vitamix on Zulilly one day. Definitely pricey but I love it. Plus, it has the same warranty as new ones.

Oh, making smoothies on the HB versus Vitamix is not the same. I love that you can make hot soups and sauces on the Vitamix. I think you can grind oats into fine grain, too.
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265323 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 16:03:52 +0000 sweet_p 2265323@https://boards.hellobee.com/
I also second either Blendtec or Vitamix. They are pricey, but definitely worth the investment!
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265320 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 16:01:50 +0000 catlady 2265320@https://boards.hellobee.com/
We have a Blendtec and we love it. We make green smoothies every morning. We got a refurbished one and the price was actually not bad (in the 200s).
https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/recommend-your-blender#post-2265310 Mon, 17 Aug 2015 15:54:22 +0000 Mrs. Sunshine 2265310@https://boards.hellobee.com/
My blender broke last week. It was just a cheapy Hamilton Beach one that wasn't awesome to begin with and it couldn't handle the nearly daily use....and I've learned the hard way that food processors are NOT for smoothie making lol
