It's not a big potty so it's not much different than just cleaning out the insert. I will say it took a while for DD to not sit on it backwards. I guess that might be an issue...? It's perfect. Very easy to clean, easy for a toddler to use, fairly small foot print. But do you have one you love? What should I look for in terms of practicality too? </p>
