I thought it was fairly non-biased, as he does discuss vaccine injuries, too, which are often left our of the pro-vac discussion, but I'd say it's at least slightly pro-vac. The amazon reviews swing between 4-5 stars and 1 star anti-vac reviews.

@MrsBrewer: the thing i found most interesting about the Panic Virus was its discussion on how people make decisions based on "science" - so that in and of itself might be eye-opening for you. I read it before I was even expecting and thought it was good.

I read the Panic Virus, which I thought was really good. It's pro-vaccination, but does discuss vaccination injuries, spacing out vaccinations, herd immunity...

@highwire: Very true! I would love to find some non-biased information. Just fact based basically.

Don't have Netflix yet, but I think in the next couple days I'm going to sign up for it. Whats the name of the documentary?

I'm planning to buy this book, but haven't read it yet: http://www.amazon.com/What-Doctor-About-Childrens-Vaccinations/dp/0446677078/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=1Q55F5OHD31W8&coliid=I1RO2T3H7M0B0E

I'm interested also! It seems like it would be hard to find non-biased sources about this topic since it is such a hot button issue lately. There is a vaccine documentary on Netflix, if you have Netflix. I watched it and thought it was informative (but it was obviously pro-vaccinations, and a little one-sided)

Does anyone have any good recommendations for books about vaccinating? I personally am pro-vaccination and I don’t think my opinion will ever change, but I would just like to actually learn about it, reading facts about it, and just learning about the process and vaccination timings.

The discussion about vaccines have come up multiple times with myself and friends/family and I just want to make sure that I am as informed as I can be about this. Right now I never have much to add to the conversation except “yes, vaccinate!”

Just any good books in general about this, I’m eager to learn more about this topic.

I’m not intending this to be a debate on vaccination, just a list of good books/information about it!

Thanks! :-)
