@sunshineandsushi: I got our Graco at Walmart for about $100, doesn't hurt you to check.

@looch: Looks cool, but eek, that's more than I hope to spend. Double everything with twins!

The Scenera is difficult to install RF without a noodle or a rolled up towel. It is a good seat to bring on an airplane though, so if you are doing any travel, you can get them inexpensively.

I personally like the Graco My Ride, but there's a new seat out, the Size 4 Me that will let you rear face much longer, and it's not as expensive as Britax.

We need to move the boys out of their infant car seats. It's past time. They still technically can use them, but I can tell they're not very comfortable in them anymore. We already have a set of Britax Marathon convertible car seats that are currently in DH's car. The plan is to move those into my car and get a second set for his car.

Any recommendations for an affordable convertible car seat? We really won't be using this second set very often, maybe once or twice a week just to daycare, but we do want them so DH has the ability to get them if/when needed.

I know the Cosco Scenara is very affordable, but I've heard bad things about it RF.

Thanks in advance!

ETA - would love to spend less than $100 per car seat, since I have to get two!
