Having already read TCOYF, I was looking for something more in line with having difficulty TTC. I didn't read it yet, but I ordered "The conception chronicles" from amazon. It got good reviews and from my understanding, it's just to help you stay more sane and remind you you're not the only one ttc or having difficulty.
Anyone read it?

TCOYF is great. I also highly recommend "Fertility, Cycles, and Nutrition" by Marilyn Shannon. It's written with a Catholic perspective, but I found the information to be a good non-biased resource for women's reproductive health.

I read TCOYF ages ago, it's a great resource. I stayed away from those "what to expect" books because I tend to get obsessed with what's supposed to be happening and freaking out if I don't have the same experience.

I was more into reading about birth and breastfeeding. The pregnancy stuff wasn't so interesting to me.

Taking Charge of Your Fertility was great! It's large, but it's great to use as reference. I've not found another book with such complete information.

I really enjoyed reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility after it was recommended to me by several Bees. TTC or not, it's really interesting to learn how our bodies really work!

These are very good! We decided this month that we were going to start trying. Husband works out of town, so one thing is that is going to work against is timing. Right now we decided to not spazz out about the timing, i.e. 'hubby you have to be here right now because I'm ovuluating' until it has been a couple of months. I'm really having trouble with that even though it is just our first month of trying.

So, I'm going to try to control my crazy and focus all that intensity to reading about TTC and babies. Whew!

My doctor recommended Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I haven't read it yet but it's on my library request list. I don't really know of many others. I am sure there are plenty out there, though!

My husband and I are just starting our TTC journey and I've already read a few books in preparation including Taking Charge of Your Fertility and Making Babies. Any other recommendations?
