Sometimes my stylist washes my hair, sometimes she has someone else do it if she's busy. I've never tipped the hair washing person separately, and I've never seen anyone at the salon go over and give people cash or anything. I figure it's up to my stylist, kind of like how waitstaff will give part of their tips to the bussing staff at restaurants. </p> <p>In this case I'd tip maybe $50. Considering the groupon may have an inflated price. If Iet my hair air dry, I ended up with beachy waves that never got frizzy, and if I did blow dry my hair, it took so much less time and effort and stayed smooth until the next wash. I sound like such a spokesperson right now, but I swear I will do it every summer. There are different keratin treatments though - I did the nano keratin. I know it's supposed to be off the full price and not what I paid, but is it 20%? Is there a cap on how much? (20% of $350 just seems like a hell of a lot of money!) I will assume there's a separate shampoo person, and that they get tipped separately. $5 for that?</p> <p>Please help a clueless bee from not being too horribly awkward :silly: </p>
