Watch a few episodes of Barbie, particularly “Team Walters” or “Life in the Dreamhouse”. Some of the longer feature films like mermaid/ Princess etc. are kind of yuck, but the shorter episodes really are not bad. It definitely has it's problems, but I don't think it's quite as anti-feminist as you are portraying. Their mom is a computer programmer, there is a lot of focus on handling relationships. I think it's more problematic on the consumerism front than the feminism front. We talked about it and she said she just really likes the fashion aspect--dressing up a model and picking outfits, accessories, etc. That part I'm happy to encourage! So my question is do any of your kids watch fashion-centered shows or play games/apps that are less "loathe-inducing" from this feminist mama? </p>
