Do you have a prescription for you? </p> <p>I read that athlete's foot cream works. The active ingredient is clotrimazole. I used it out of desperation when I went back to work. I only put it on when I knew I wouldn't be nursing for awhile. Didn't want her to ingest it. Cleared it up in 3 days on me. Thrush has made me pretty miserable, the duct pain has been crazy. I'm surprised I've kept breastfeeding this long, actually. The weird thing is I don't have any pain this time but DS's mouth is full of white :(</p> <p>I just can't believe I can't get rid of it for good. I'm not a "yeasty" person - I've never had a yeast infection etc.</p> <p>Last time I asked my doctor about it, she said it wasn't a big deal and that when DS spaces his feeds out more it will go away. We have had reoccurring thrush. I ended up starting to wash my nipples between each feed and use monistat cream on my nipples. Cleared it up.</p> <p>Eta: I hope you can figure it out. He hasn't had it in about 2 months but it's back again!!! GRRR. I have been using Nystatin suspension 4x/day when he has it but it must not be working properly.
