@T.H.O.U.: I know it's killing me! And her- she gets SO frustrated. She can move backwards really well. AND she's pulled herself into seated position (awkwardly, maybe not 100% on purpose) a few times too. Girlfriend wants to be mobile!

The picture isn't totally clear so it's hard to tell but I would try to brush it off and see if it is removable. It kind of looks like an enamel defect but I can't see it that well so I'm not 100%. Take a pic with a dslr  haha!

@kjpugs: m2 had this and it went away. I think it was part Of the gum or blood from cutting through. Just watch it and see if it goes away.

@T.H.O.U.: haven't tried a toothbrush but did try a wet washcloth and no luck. I'll get one of those banana brushes now that she is getting teeth and try it. Not sure if this warrants a call to the ped or not :bummed:

@kjpugs: Hmmm.... It almost looks like it could be a piece of gum or skin that got pulled up when the tooth came in? I know you said you tried to wipe it off, but what about brushing?

@T.H.O.U.: I have to look closer to see. I think it's close to the gum, but the teeth aren't too big yet so it's kind of the same for both options

Is it a dot on the bottom edge of her tooth or actually on the front face of the tooth?

LO is 6 months and 10 days (to be exact, haha) and just about 2 weeks ago or so got in her first two teeth. They're still coming up but I've noticed they each have sort of a red dot on them? I thought it was blood and tried to wipe it but they've been there at least a few days now (I've been sick so I wasn't touching her mouth or face for a while there though so maybe longer.)

Anyone experience this? I'll try to get a pic and post it if I can... we all know how easy getting a pic of baby's teeth is... ha! :silly:

ETA- pic of the teeth!
