My son had colic and reflux and he basically broke me. He never wanted to eat, threw up, slept on an inclined crib mattress, screamed constant.ly. and didn't sleep very well until the Prevacid switch around 3 months. Plus I was on a total elimination diet for his milk. When Zantac stopped working for LO, we switched to Prilosec (omeprazole) and it was life-changing! We didn't get to that point - Zantac stopped working and I pressed for Prevacid (on the advice of some other reflux moms) and that did the trick.
