@purrpletulips: Ahh... yes, it could be teething, she's already got 5, but they seem to just keep coming in. I'll watch her ears, we haven't had an infection yet so I don't know how she responds to that.

@Running Elley: I hope it's a phase. Of course, now that it's the weekend I'm worried she will nurse all weekend and make it worse for when she goes back to daycare on Monday.

Elliot has been taking a lot less formula lately. I think that it's going down because of his solids consumption. Idk? Maybe it's just a phase!

It could also be teething. DS (9m) has started refusing his noon bottle at the sitter, she says he wants to play with it and rub it on his gums but not actually eat it (he BF without problem). My other thought is a possible ear infection, DD would refuse to eat when she was getting those.

@purrpletulips: I had thought about that... but it seems weird that she would be doing that now. She's been taking bottles fine for 6-7 months now. She's been STTN (the majority of the time) since around 8 weeks.

It's just weird...

She may want to nurse all evening/night to make up for not drinking all day.

HELP!

LO has refused her afternoon bottle at daycare for the last 2 days.
Today, daycare called and said she has refused her 9:30 and 12:30 bottles and they just tried again at 2:30 and she will not take the bottle. She's refusing fresh milk, thawed milk and her regular formula.

This is new, she's never refused bottles. In general, she's very easy going, good eater, good sleeper, hitting milestone's on target.

Last week she had a little bug (all better now) and I was with her Friday afternoon - Sunday and only breastfed her. She's not refusing when I breastfeed her in the morning or at night either. But we've typically just done breastfeeding on the weekends and no bottles.

At what point do you get concerned that they have no milk/liquid? Should I call the pediatrician? I'm not sure what they will really be able to offer?
