I agree with having her pick! Maybe she'll be more inclined to wear them if they have her favorite animals or characters on them. My son was obsessed with Mickey so we bought him the Mickey pull ups and he loved them. He wouldn't wear any other brand.

Have you tried letting her pick them out in the store? My son was meh about pull-ups before but now he likes to pick which brand and which superheroes appear. I kind of hate the commercialism and the characters and all that, but he does like them! (PS We only use them when he sleeps or on long car trips at this point)

Huggies makes diaper pull-ups called Slip-Ons and they are great. I think they make regular pull-ups so that kids can feel the wetness and some kids hate it. I guess that forces some to go to the potty instead of wetting the pull up. I think the Slip-Ons are just like regular diapers in that they can't feel the wetness. Maybe worth a try?

@StbHisMrs: I just know the buggies vs pampers vs generic pull ups feel very different. Maybe try a different brand.

@T.H.O.U.: I've only tried regular Pull Ups, but we do use the cloth trainers too. She likes the cloth trainers since they're more like underwear. I just want something to keep her dry overnight and while running errands.

@StbHisMrs: the gerber ones never for my little dude. We had the most success with grovia or the flip brand cloth trainers.

@brownie: Are those like the cloth Gerber trainers? We have some of those and use them daily! I haven't actually bought any pull ups, I've only used the samples I had stashed away ;)

I put her Underwear on over the pull up and focused her attention elsewear and that sort of worked!

In my googling I found this tutorial to make clith trainers more absorbant, I think I'll be stopping by the fabric store this weekend!

We did cloth pullups for mess when we needed them for being out of the house. They were more like underwear.

Will she wear them over her underwear? Or under her underwear?

We've been potty training for the past 2 weeks while we're home, it's been going really well. She'll be 2 on the 10th and kind of led the way!

I introduced pull ups today because we used up all her diapers (I still put them on when we're out and about), she refuses the pull ups. Screams, kicks, pulls them off, she still has accidents and the padding doesn't come off her carseat ;)

Anyone else go through this? Any ideas on how to keep them on her?
